The
Earth Kids Organization works with many different groups
and organizations. It’s programs and activities differ depending
on the needs of the people with whom we are working, and
where we are working. Mitzi Rabin, executive director.
1998
Created Earth Kids Program (see copies in English, Spanish,
and Africanse) Taught rights and responsibilities to Carlsbad
Head Start program, Oceanside Rotary, and U.N.I.C.E.F Gave
talks and performed in San Diego County.
1999
Continued
work with Rotary, Head Start, United Nations Association
of San Diego County. Worked with the Dept. of Parks and
Recreation in Carlsbad, CA and local government in Oceanside
and Carlsbad. Created and gave seminars on self esteem(see
copies “You are a Treasure” in English and Spanish). Created
and gave talks on Peace Building.
2000
Created
website ( www.earthkidsfoundation.com).
Sponsored sports teams in Carlsbad. Continued to work with
groups and organizations with ongoing projects. Created
and sent invitation to the world to address the needs of
the children
2001
Worked
with City of Oceanside, Bahai Community and Rotary, as well
as many other groups and organizations in San Diego County.
We started our international work in South Africa.
2002
Worked
in Cape Town, George, and Port Elizabeth South Africa giving
talks and doing training with different organizations such
as the Amy Biehl Foundation, Childrens Welfare,
and many health organizations.
2003
We worked again in South Africa continuing our activities
to promote the well being of the children. Started feeding
schemes at Lovemore School, Port Elizabeth South Africa
for 80 children. Started permaculture garden projects.
2004
Worked again in South Africa continuing projects. Started
a coalition for the well being of the children (see No More
Dinosaur Thinking) Created new website www.earthkidsmall.com
worked in Ashland Oregon with Lincoln Elementary School,
Peace House, and Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library.
2005
Continuing working in Ashland Oregon. Went to Los Angeles
to build partnerships and sponsorships for the new Mall
site.
2006
Made Ashland Oregon my permanent home. Worked with service
organizations to put on a community event (Kicking it off
for the Kids) Worked to promote Peace Building. Continued
work on Mall site
BIOGRAPHY
- MITZI RABIN
Mitzi started volunteering and social activism at an early
age. Mother of three, grandmother of three. Mitzi is a New
Thought Minister and a doctor of Metaphysics. Started working
as a spiritual teacher and opened up a spiritual center.
Mitzi created seminars and programs for children. She has
been a spokes person for U.N.I.C.E.F.
Mitzi
formed 501-C3 non profit organization, Earth Kids Foundation,
and became it’s director. Mitzi started Friends of the Earth
Kids Trust. She has worked nationally and internationally
in South Africa, Brazil and South America. She is creating
a virtual mall www.earthkidsmall.com
on behalf of the well-being of the children hoping to implement
programs that assure all children their basic human rights.
